For the last 14 years, we are funding one of our most successful interns in Kreatif Architects for a one month trip to Europe, covering their accommodation and travel expenses. Apply for minimum two months uninterrupted internship position until 15th of March with your CV and Portfolio. (Accommodation and travel expenses for foreign students during internship period in Istanbul should be covered by students themselves)

Sule Karabıyıkoğlu and Pelin Kayhan from Istanbul Technical University, Yaren Aslan from MEF University and Berkay Öztürk from Yıldız Technical University will perform summer internships at Kreatif Mimarlık this summer.

Kreatif Mimarlık sends office interns to Europe via Inter-Rail for the 13th time. The interns who take the trip share their experiences with the office staff on their return. Kreatif Architects cover their accomodation and travel expenses.

The founder of the Kreatif Architects, Aydan Volkan, stated that the travel grant given to one person every year was decided to be given two students this year, indicating that six students have completed two months of internship at Kreatif Architects. Next summer Abdülkerim Atabey from YTÜ and Sinem Evcim from İTÜ will be visiting Europe via Inter-Rail next summer. Previsously, Melis Yağmur Elaldi, one of the 2016 interns, had shared her impressions about the concept of “urban threshold” from her summer travel thru our web site and Facebook page.

Kreatf Architects see office and construction site internships as an important part of architectural education. In office projects that provide the same conditions and facilities as the employees, the interns also are given responsibility within the ongoing projects according to their knowdledge and interest.

Kreatif Architecs accepts applications frım students who will only take summer internship without interruption for at least two months. The applications are accepted between the dates, December 10, 2017 and February 15, 2018. The applications are evaluated first after the examination of the portfolios and then with the interviews conducted with selected candidates. For the year 2018, a total of 8 weeks internship period, excluding one-week holiday, was specified between July 2nd and September 7th.

Melis Yağmur Elaldı, who won Kreatif’s travel scholarship during her summer internship in 2016, shared her observations on the concept of “urban threshold” observed during her European trip in the summer of 2017.

Kreatif Mimarlık’s 11-year summer internship travel scholarship winner was identified. During the summer, interns who contributed to the development of the projects in the summer were also asked to develop ideas for an arrangement that would allow Kreatif Mimarlık’s alternative use of office garden. In line with these efforts, Melis Yağmur Elaldı won the 2016 travel scholarship with the selection of the project managers in the office. 

Melis Yağmur Elaldı was born in Ankara on July 9, 1994. After completing her primary and secondary education, she took his first step towards architectural life in 2012 by winning the Department of Architecture at YTÜ. Melis, who studied language in London in the summer of 2014, completed the fieldwork in the Renaissance Summer Residence Project in 2015. In 2016, she completed her office training in the field of creative architecture. As of the 2016-2017 academic year, she continues her education as a YTÜ 4th grade student.

Melis Yağmur Elaldı will make observations in Europe with InterRail thanks to the Kreatif Architecture Travel Scholarship in the summer of 2017.

108 architectural students who applied to Kreatif Architecture summer internship program were evaluated with their portfolios.

The result of the first round of elimination was repeated with 25 students. As a result of the final elimination, we decided to accept four students for 2016 summer internship program. They are MEF University 2nd grade students Kadir Mert Tatar, Selen Sürmeli, METU third year student Ezgi İnce and 3rd grade student of YTU Melis Yağmur Elaldı.

Kreatif Mimarlık accepts applications from the students of the architecture department, which will only hold summer courses for at least two months without interruption, until April 15th every year. The applications are evaluated after the examination of the portfolios and after the interviews with the selected candidates. A total of 8 weeks internship period was set for the year 2016, from July 11th to September 9th, except for a weekly holiday from August 5th to 15th.
